The latest artist to come out of the chi-town resurgence is one that you should pay close attention to. We included his track ‘Long Time’ in our April Playlist, but here at dont.sleeppp we still feel there is some light to be shed on the MC/Producer. Check out some of his stand out tracks below- and I have a feeling you’ll be hearing a lot more from Chance in 2012.

I started watching Grind Time addictively years back on youtube and then was tuned into all the other hype style battle labels like URL, SMACK, and KOTD. Recently all other scenes have crashed and burned, but with people like Drect himself grasping for his throne. King Of The Dot has now went from a home grown brand into a international sensation in less then a 12 month time span. They deserve alot of recognition for the ability to stablize an unchartered industry like battle rapping and make it a revolutionary occurance.
